Samsung quitely launches Galaxy Watch FE even before the unpacked event. Galaxy Watch FE is an entry level smartwatch that will be only available in 40mm size.
Packed with features like advanced fitness tracking, sleep monitoring, and heart health monitoring, the Galaxy Watch FE is a great option for those looking to improve their overall wellness. It comes in a single 40mm size and three color options: Black, Pink Gold, and Silver.
The Bluetooth-only version of the Galaxy Watch FE starts at $199.99, making it a more budget-friendly option compared to other Galaxy smartwatches. The LTE-capable version will arrive later this year for $249.99.
The Galaxy Watch FE boasts a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 396 x 396 resolution. It’s powered by the Exynos W920 chipset with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Notably, it comes with a more scratch-resistant sapphire glass display compared to the Gorilla Glass DX+ on the Galaxy Watch 4.
For fitness enthusiasts, the Galaxy Watch FE offers various health tracking features, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and even ECG. It also boasts water resistance up to 5ATM and military-grade durability (MIL-STD-810H).
